General trading conditions for Blokhus By Camping.
All prices are stated in Danish kroner incl. VAT and taxes, unless otherwise stated and clearly stated in the situation in question.
Right of withdrawal and refund:
We point out that your booking is not covered by the Danish Consumer Contracts Act’s rules on the right of cancellation. The sale of accommodation (cottages, holiday homes, camping etc.) is covered by a special exception provision in §18 subsection 2 no. 12 of the Consumer Contracts Act. The booking made is thus not covered by a 14-day right of cancellation. The reason for this lies in the fact that re-letting a reserved cabin/apartment/space that is canceled just a few days before arrival will often not be possible.
Booking by email or phone:
– when booking a cabin stay at Blokhus By Camping, 100% of the price must be paid no later than 5 days after the booking date. Any remaining balances are paid upon departure. When confirming the booking, the date of the latest payment is given, as well as a link to our bank account to which the money must be transferred. When making a payment, the name and cabin number must be stated.
– when booking a camping stay at Blokhus By Camping, 100% of the price must be paid no later than 5 days after the booking date. Any remaining balances are paid upon departure. – If you book a stay with your own caravan/tent/motorhome or stay in a cabin or room, the full amount is paid immediately after the booking has been made. After receiving the order, Blokhus By Camping sends the booking confirmation per e-mail. If you do not receive an e-mail with your booking confirmation, please check your spam and/or junk mail.
– On receipt of the booking confirmation, it is the tenant’s responsibility to ensure that the period and the selected unit are correct.
Booking via our online system:
– when booking a stay via our online system, 100% of the amount is paid at the time of booking. Payment can be made with approved payment/credit cards. See which cards can be used on our online booking.
– On receipt of the booking confirmation, it is the tenant’s responsibility to ensure that the period and the selected unit are correct.
Registration of information:
Blokhus By Camping registers your name, your address, your e-mail and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer register. The information is not passed on, but Blokhus By Camping keeps the registration for 5 years. Blokhus By Camping uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the site. When paying by credit card, the registration takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet.
Cancellation of the stay:
You have the option to purchase a cancellation protection when the stay is booked. With cancellation protection, you are guaranteed the possibility of canceling your stay. Our cancellation protection also applies in the event of illness.
Cancellation protection costs DKK 295 per booked unit, and must be ordered at the same time as the stay. After the payment for the booking has been made, the Cancellation Protection can no longer be ordered/cancelled.
If you have chosen NOT to purchase cancellation protection and cancel your booked stay, you will not get the amount paid back.
If you have purchased cancellation protection, the following applies:
In case of illness
– covers Cancellation Protection until 12 noon on the day of arrival. The amount paid (minus the price for the Cancellation Protection) is returned upon submission of documentation in the form of a medical certificate.
– In cases where the booking consists of several units: space for a caravan/tent/camper, cabins, rooms, the Cancellation Protection only covers the unit that the person affected by the illness was supposed to occupy.
If it is NOT an illness, the following applies:
More than 30 days before arrival
– if canceled more than 30 days before arrival, you will get the amount paid back, minus the price of the Cancellation Protection.
29 – 15 days before arrival
– in case of cancellation 29 – 15 days before arrival, you will get 50% of the amount paid back, minus the price of the Cancellation Protection.
14 – 0 days before arrival
– in case of cancellation 14-0 days before arrival, there is no refund of paid amounts.
During the stay
In the event of acute illness, accident or death in the immediate family, you should be aware of being covered by your own private travel insurance. Our Cancellation Protection does NOT cover if, for whatever reason, you cancel your stay.
Change of bookingperiod
Blokhus By Camping accepts, as far as possible, rebooking the original booking, but this must be done within the same season. If the rebooked stay is later canceled by the tenant, a refund will be possible if the tenant has pre-booked and paid a cancellation protection in the original booking. Thereafter, the rules that apply under the cancellation protection rules apply.
Complaint processing:
If for some reason you do not receive your contract, which confirms your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to us at mail@blokhusbycamping.dk or call us on 40 44 90 96.
Complaints about the booking process, the booking itself or the product (the stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error during a general review of your contract. You can complain in writing or orally. One year after receipt of the goods (stay), the right to complain ceases in accordance with section 83, subsection of the Purchase Act. 1, unless otherwise agreed.
When Blokhus By Camping receives your complaint about a product, the complaint is processed as soon as possible. Blokhus By Camping will decide whether the item received should be refunded, exchanged or a price reduction should be given.
Force Majeure
If the rental is prevented by conditions outside the holiday center’s influence (epidemics, disaster, riots, lockout, strike or the like), the center is not liable for this, and no compensation is due to the tenant.
