Cancellation protection
*The price assumes that it is purchased for all persons on the booking and for the entire duration of the stay.
**Cancellation protection: DKK 295 per unit per stay.
– With cancellation protection, you are guaranteed the possibility of canceling your stay. Our cancellation protection also applies in the event of illness.
– Please note that the Cancellation Protection must be ordered simultaneously with or immediately after the booking of the stay has been made and before the stay starts.
If you have chosen NOT to purchase cancellation protection and cancel your booked stay, you will not get the amount paid back.
If you have purchased cancellation protection, the following applies:
In case of illness:
– covers Cancellation Protection until 12 noon on the day of arrival. The amount paid (minus the price for the Cancellation Protection) is returned upon submission of documentation in the form of a medical certificate.
– In cases where the booking consists of several units: space for a caravan/tent/camper, cabins, rooms, the Cancellation Protection only covers the unit that the person affected by the illness was supposed to occupy.
If it is NOT an illness, the following applies:
More than 30 days before arrival
– if you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will get the amount paid back, minus the cancellation protection price.
29 – 15 days before arrival
– if you cancel 29 – 15 days before arrival, you will get 50% of the amount paid back, minus the price of the Cancellation Protection.
14 – 0 days before arrival
– in case of cancellation 14-0 days before arrival, there is no refund of paid amounts.
During the stay
In the event of acute illness, accident or death in the immediate family, you should be aware of being covered by your own private travel insurance. Our Cancellation Protection does NOT cover if, for whatever reason, you cancel your stay.
Rebooking of the stay
Blokhus By Camping accepts, as far as possible, a rebooking of the original booking, but this must be done within the same season. If the rebooked stay is later canceled by the tenant, a refund will be possible if the tenant has pre-booked and paid a cancellation protection in the original booking. Thereafter, the rules that apply under the cancellation protection rules apply.
